Bozeman Youth Soccer

Bozeman Youth Soccer provides young fans of the sport with several options. Bozeman Blitz is a United States Soccer Federation competitive traveling team. The Bozeman Blitz Micro program offers tweens and young teens a non-traveling league. The AYSO program focuses on recreational playing and increased fitness. Bozeman High School Hawk Soccer competes in the MHSA conference, with frosh-more, junior varsity and varsity teams for girls and boys.

Bozeman Ice Sports

The Bozeman Amateur Hockey Association offers teams for middle school and high school students, including traveling teams. Those looking for a more artistic way to spend time on the ice may enjoy the Bozeman Figure Skating Club. Skating lessons are available for youth interested in trying out both sports.

Big Sky Youth Empowerment Project

The Big Sky Youth Empowerment Project aims to encourage teen growth through outdoor activities such as snowboarding and fly fishing paired with communication and life skills activities. All programs are free of charge. Youth who have taken advantage of the project can return as mentors to other participants.

Team Delphine

Team Delphine is a competitive women's cycling team focusing on road racing. The group is open to riders of all ages, and younger members are paired with experienced mentors to help encourage their interest in cycling. The team trains, travels, and competes together, with two weekly practices for varying fitness levels.

Montana Conservation Corps

Although the Montana Conservation Corps is part of the Americorps program for young adults, the organization also includes a Youth Crew Program. One such group is centered in Bozeman. Members engage in community service and conservation projects while also taking part in teambuilding activities. Participants work locally and within a two-hour drive of their home location.

Boys & Girls Club of Southwest Montana

Boys & Girls Club of Southwest Montana provides after-school programs featuring computers, arts and crafts, games, gym and sports activities, homework help, and a chance to enjoy the companionship of other teens in a supervised environment.

Gallatin County 4-H

Gallatin County 4-H programs allow youth to develop their skills in areas as diverse as dog care, embroidery, and robotics. Members show off their hard work at yearly fairs. As a part of Montana 4-H, the group offers even more opportunities for learning and leadership development at the state level.

Bozeman Parks and Recreation

In addition to the soccer, cycling, and skating opportunities listed previously, Bozeman Parks and Recreation offers information on dozens of teams, leagues, and organizations devoted to sports and fitness.

Bozeman Youth Initiative

The Bozeman Youth Initiative is a community-minded organization for teens. Programs include the Bridging the Gap radio show and Web Club, devoted to updating the group's website while learning valuable computer skills. Dial-Up is both a phone line offering information on local activities of interest and a production company planning dances, concerts, and more.
