For teenagers who love the movies or theater, creating a screenplay and filming it can provide hours of entertainment. All that is needed is creativity, actors and a camera. Actually, there is a lot more work involved than just those three simple things. Teens plan the movie by writing and editing the script. Then comes the difficult task of casting roles. For a first production, it's probably best to keep the number of actors and actresses to a minimum. The more actors in a scene, the more difficult filming becomes and the longer it takes. Once the movie is filmed, the editing process begins, which often takes the longest. Wrap up the activity by hosting a premier night and screening the completed movie to family and friends.
