Boys & Girls Club of Southwest Montana

The Boys & Girls Club of Southwest Montana offers after-school programs with a wide variety of activities. The goal of this organization is to allow youth to spend time in a positive environment instead of staying home alone. Teens can participate in sports, receive extra help with their homework or play a game in the computer lab.

Gallatin County 4-H

With the diverse offerings of the Gallatin County 4-H, students are sure to find something to pique their interest. Although 4-H brings to mind images of raising cattle and cooking, participants can also focus on high-tech areas, such as robotics. Teens also have the chance to compete and celebrate the year's work at the annual county fair.

Montana Conservation Corps

The Montana Conservation Corps, affiliated with the Americorps program, offers opportunities for service-minded youth who also have an appreciation for Montana's natural beauty. The Youth Crew program allows teens to participate in conservation projects in the Gallatin county area. The Big Sky Youth Empowerment Project takes troubled youth away from their everyday lives and gives them opportunities to grow in the great outdoors. The program combines exciting activities like snowboarding with personal development exercises. Past participants can return as mentors to younger students.
