Hi Tiffany, At your age I would focus on learning the basics of sewing so you learn how to make and fit garments. Sewing is the number one skill you will need for designing clothing. Join a 4-H sewing club or sign up for sewing lessons locally (or perhaps your mom or other relative can show you?). 4-H has a strong sewing program including fashion shows- that may be your best bet. Good luck!
