Teens Magazines
From LoveToKnow Teens
A teen magazine’s headline should be, “extra, extra, read all about it: teens dictate culture”.

Teen Vogue
Teens love their fashion, and Teen Vogue is leading the charge. While some kids diddle, serious fashionista’s in training know where to get the goods, and it’s Teen Vogue. And why not? Fashion oriented moms still turn to Vogue for the absolute cutting edge in what’s hot; be it for the newest supermodels, fashion, or beauty. Not to mention all the juicy gossip. Crave more from the drumbeat of fashion? Teen Vogue also has a great column entitled Industy Insider. Currently they’re featuring a write up of model du jour, the sultry and beautiful Chanel Iman. Check it out. The scoop on up and coming models is worth its weight in gold.
Teen People
We need a little celebrity inspiration to feel all that fashion and Teen People combines the two brilliantly. There are a ton of photos of your favorite celebes, from Lindsay Lohan to America Ferrera to Jennifer Hudson, you name the star and they’ve got a photo of them. And it doesn’t end there. With horoscopes and tons of juicy gossip Teen People puts it down.
CosmoGirl
CosmoGirl also delivers. Their teen magazine runs the gamut from astrology to beauty, and from fashion to guys; no one covers these subjects quite like CosmoGirl. Much like our company’s Makeup site, they have an ask the expert section that is devoted to answering all your need to know beauty questions. There are also a lot of fun online quizzes on guys, beauty, fashion, and everything in between.
Online Magazines
If you prefer a more modest approach to your beauty, there is a Christian website called Brio Mag, and don’t let the Christian part stop you from checking this site out, as their site is very inclusive and sensitive to other religions. Their categories include what’s new, dear susie, entertainment, health and beauty, relationships, spiritual health, real life, quizzes, too funny and fiction fix.
There entertainment and spiritual health categories do have an unapologetic Christian slant, but the site, by in large, is very well rounded. Most note worthy are their dear susie and brio and beyond. Some of the articles in brio and beyond include sections like No More Jerks, an article about a young man that was a jerk to women until God healed his heart. Certainly, this site is not for everyone, but for those who like their fashion and beauty wholesome, Brio Mag may be a good fit.

Putting It All Together
The bottom line is that teen’s magazines are an entertaining brand of media that supply teens with what they demand from this particular genre; namely, fashion, beauty, and celebrity news. To be sure, we could argue all day long about whether they help, or hinder young people’s common sense and morale. Teens however, love it, and why not when mom reads the exact same thing?
