It is hard to come out. When you live in Cali, its like, everyone would hate you. Homophobia and religoun just makes things dificult.

I'm a gay. I'm very nervous about coming out because my family does not like gays at all, but I'm going to come out in my own time. Don't be afraid of what people think. If your friends were true, they would understand. They wouldn't care. It's nothing to be embarrassed about. People in my school are very angry towards gays, but don't worry. If you feel comfortable go for it and be gay.

Hi Jamie, Is it the girl or her mom that is the problem? Does she act differently towards you in school? Perhaps you can only converse while in school or you could join the same groups so you could spend time together outside of school. Don't make your friend choose between you and her family; it will only make things worse, especially for her at home if she has to sneak around.
