-- Contributed by: lilI LOVE YOUR WEB- BLOG- WHATEVER IT IS! I really want to read all about hiphop. I'm not a hiphop, but I'm trying to. I'm still a student and enjoying reading a site like this.
-- Contributed by: akkimaI am a white guy from England, and am also a Mormon. This dress style is accepted by my church. I like gold, silver colors and white trainers and a cool hoody, hip-hop is so cool.
-- Contributed by: PaulTechnically, I'm sort of converting from "geek-style" to this hip-hop. Don't get me wrong, hip-hop has always been my style of clothing, I just can never seem to find hip-hop clothing where I shop, like Abercrombie, Hollister, Anchor Blue, etc. And my style sort of don't match the shops you supplied either! But I'm glad they have some line of clothing that fits my style!
-- Contributed by: JJkuJust for the record. The south did not usher in Gold Teeth into hip hop culture. Infact in the south the style for decade before Hip Hop has been the wearing of a permanent gold cap to cover a chipped tooth. Not for cultural fashion. It was in N.Y. that Gold teeth became a fashion where you could go to The Colloseum in Queens or Al Bee Square mall in Brooklyn to buy molded gold teeth with no dental need at all. We called them "Fronts". The "Grill" used in the south is almost 20 years later. Just check Flavor Flav (the first Rapper to popularize gold fronts)then there was The Fat Boys, Just Ice, Kool G Rap, MC SHAN, Big Daddy Kane, we can go on. But gold teeth was started in NYC. Even Paul Wall said seeing Flavor Flav as a kid made him want to get into the "Grill" business.
