Hi Shalyric and Taila, Start by reading the help wanted ads in your local paper or PenneSaver. Ask your parents if they know anyone with small children who might need a babysitter. Post Babysitting Flyers around town. Hopefully you'll find something soon!

-- Contributed by: Daniel TownsendHi Elisha, If you are already going to the Delta training camp, what kind of additional internship are you looking for? Internships are usually done either after school or during summer breaks- usually for college students. I'd finish the training camp and see where to go from there. If you do well perhaps they'll hire you after graduation- whether you are in high school or college.

-- Contributed by: AlexaHi Zipporah, Try looking in your local newspaper to see if anyone is looking for a babysitter. Post baby sitting fliers around your neighborhood so people know that you are available. Ask your parents and neighbors that have children if they need any babysitters. Check out our article, Babysitting Flyers for help with creating fliers.

-- Contributed by: zipporahHi Angela, Try asking around your local hair salons and day spas. They may consider taking you on in some capacity, at least until you get a cosmetology license (if that is where you are headed career-wise). You could also try getting jobs working at the mall at a make-up counter for the summer, but these jobs are a little harder to land since they want people who will continue to work after the summer is over.
-- Contributed by: Charlotte GerberI am sixteen and I love makeup and hair. Can I get a job doing this?

-- Contributed by: Charlotte GerberHello everyone, my name is LaQuanda. Im 15 years old. Last year in the middle of May I started working at a middle school doing photo editing. Other than that I do love people. I'm very respectful and I have experience with children and elderly people. I have many people that can vouch for that. Currently I am looking for a full-time job.

It has dozens of ideas for teens that are looking for a job, but are too young to work at a business yet. You can also look in your newspaper at the "help wanted" section. This part of the paper often has ads for people looking for pet sitters, house cleaners and dog walkers.

-- Contributed by: Charlotte GerberHi, I'm 15 and I'm looking for a fun job that I'll love doing and earn at the same time. What do you think I can do? I tried researching online, but they don't give you any specific info. What should I do?
-- Contributed by: sreyaHi Charis, Unfortunately, you cannot get a loan when you are 14. You need to be of legal age (18 in the United States) before you can get a loan by yourself. Otherwise, your parents or guardian would have to get a loan for you.
What you should know though is that the fashion business doesn't require you to get a loan first. What you do need to do first is practice your trade; that means learn to sew, learn all you can about fabrics and how they drape on the human form. Make some of your own fashions and wear them. If your school teaches sewing, take that class. 4-H also has a long history with their great sewing classes.
The next step after that would be to graduate from high school and either enroll in a fashion trade school/institute or go to college and get a major in a fashion-related area. That is when you'll have opportunities to work with people in the business through internships. After that- who knows? Perhaps you'll open your own business then, and be old enough for that loan. Good luck!
-- Contributed by: Charlotte GerberI'm 13 about to turn 14 and I am in love with fashion. I don't know everything about it, but I could learn. One day I want to have my own business, but I need a lot of help. I know that first I need a loan. How can I get one at my age?
-- Contributed by: CharisHi Alyssa,
Laws vary from one region to the next, but at 13 your empolyment options can seem a bit limited. Have you read Jobs for Teens 13 and Up yet? You may be inspired to start a business of your own.
