Hi, I'm starting highschool next month and want to change my style. In middle school I never had very great style. I want to know how to dress for my body type. I'm pretty curvy, and I have big thighs. What should I wear that looks good on my body?

Hi Jaz,

I can tell you that you will catch up to everyone developmentally, but that won't make you feel better right now. All I can say is hang in there... This boy that you like isn't worth your time if he is only going to like you for your body...like you said, you want someone who is going to like you for who you are...

Hi, im 14 and I'll be going to high school in a couple of months. I had a big problem in middle school because all of the boys liked the girls because they have...well, they're more developed than I am. I feel out of my place when i walk down the hallways. I hear them say, "She got a flat butt","She's flat chested". I get really hurt because they dont know anything about me and they judge me. I like this boy and he likes the same things i do, but i know i'll never have a chance to be with him because he likes big "things". Why can't boys like girls for who they are? It really makes me feel...ugly on the outside..and inside. ='(

Hi Ashleigh,

We don't have images and information on this topic. However, you can do some research online to find what you need. Good luck!

What is the stuff you shouldn't wear this season for teens and can I please have some pictures to because I am doing an article for my year 6/7 magazine for school. Thank you

HI Briann,

The attention you receive from wearing revealing clothing is not the attention you really want. Changing what you where isn't who you really are and will attract guys you may not be interested in. The best thing to do is be yourself and wear what makes you comfortable. This will make you much more desirable and attract the perfect guy for YOU.

if i wanna impress a boy or have other guys look at me and think im hot what should i wear that girls wont also think im a slut

I'm not sure what the problem is - if your mom allows you to wear these things, and you like to wear them, isn't that a good thing? If however you meant to say that she doesn't let you wear them, consider wearing camisoles with sheer tops over them, or wear them with shrugs. That way you can wear the things you like, with a smidge of modesty that will keep your mom happy.

Hi Tired of looking,

If you are curvy, wearing boys clothing will become more difficult as you develop. Boys clothes are designed for boys- no hips, no breasts, so they're pretty much straight or too tight in all the wrong places for you. It really doesn't matter what your sexual orientation is, many girls find relaxed guys clothing more comfortable. If you feel comfortable in these relaxed looking clothes, try your local mall for starters. American Eagle, Abercrombie & Fitch, L.L. Bean, Land's End and Eddie Bauer have lots of asexual clothing that both girls and guys can wear, and be fashionable at the same time. These particular stores cater to indviduals with your slight build, so finding clothes that fit shouldn't really be a problem. Most of these particular stores sell online and through catalogs, so just type these store names into your browser to find out how to get their free catalogs or to order clothes online.

I'm a lesbian, and ever since I was little, I was a tom boy. Then I got in middle school, to fit the "norm",I started wearing girly clothes. Now, I've realized I'm more comfortable in boy clothes, but it's so difficult to find clothes that fit, and fit well. I feel like shopping for clothes is a burden now because I can never find something to buy. Can you give me some suggestions for finding clothes that fit well? P.S. I'm 5'7", 120,thin, and curvy.

Hi Heather,

You want to show that teens prefer one clothing line over an other; in order to do this you would need to do a poll or take a survey. An ideal survey has 10 questions or less in it, people tend to get bored with longer ones.

For example, you could give the people taking the survey a list of the top 8 or 9 clothing designer lines and then leave a spot (for number 10) where they could list their own favorite clothing line (in case it isn't in your top 8 or 9). Then all you have to do is tally up the responses. The clothing lines with the most responses are obviously the favorites. If this is for a class, be sure to keep track of how many people took the survey, and how many of the people taking the survey were girls and boys (or simply all girls). Good luck with your essay!
