Hi Cara, The type of bathing suit depends on the pageant directors- some require a 1 piece bathing suit. The only way to find out what each pageant requires is to either sign up for ones locally or request that they send you the information. It isn't too late for you to get into doing pageants- they have them for all ages (think Miss America and Miss Universe!).

Don't you have to wear a two piece bathing suit? I have never done pageants before- I know nothing about how to start. Could you help me? I'm 15 and I hope it's not too late.

Hi Becky, There aren't specific weight requirements that I'm aware of for beauty pageants or modeling. Models are always on the skinny side though, but beauty pageants are a little more forgiving, especially since they currently rely more on scholarship and talent these days. Modeling part-time is possible; discuss this as an option when you talk with an agent.

What is the weight requirement for a 5'7" girl? What are the ideal measurements for this height, and if the girl has stretch marks or birthmarks? In the case of modeling, are there any part-time jobs? I couldn't find any answers for these question on the website, so I'm hoping you can answer them instead. Thank you!
