So there's this guy that I met at the beach oe time with my family. Anyways when we had to leave, he wanted my number. We've kept in touch for 3 months, in a way. There was a missions trip he had to go on for 8 weeks where he couldnt accept any texts. During that time, I just waited. Wondering if he would even send a text when he got back. He did. And it made me notice that he cares about me.Now he's gone to Europe for 3 weeks, and he gets no service over there unless he wants to pay alot of money. He cared enough to text the first time, but will he care at all when he gets back and school starts?

hi, i am 16 yrs old...iam in high school! and i used to like this guys and almost every1 in school knew abt it and so did he. i even told him that i liked him because he was also my friend. now i moved schools and i his good friend is my boyfriend. i met him anfter me and his friend strted dating and he seemed to be pretty cool about it. but now he doesnt call me or mail me...i IM'd him and he didnt reply... i still have a soft spot for him but its just a soft spot! i donno what to do??coz i still want us to be friends and talk!

i began to talk to a boy the lastweek of school even tho i liked him all year well the last week of school it was offical we bgan to date i gave him my number he only called once and now its the summer cant really get in touch with him so

girls, does it occur to anyone that maybe he's just not interested? Sometimes the easiest thing for a guy - or girl! - to do is say "sure, i'll take your number - because if they said "no," they know they'd be hurting your feelings. Plenty of smart, outgoing, cool guys are going to forget to call you in your lifetime - so what? It doesn't mean that they are evil, or liars, or that you are uncool or not worth their time. Imagine, for example, if Shotty went home from summer camp to discover that his older brother was going to the military, and his dog disappeared, and his best friend no longer wanted to skateboard any more - he just might have other things on his mind than you.

Just because you like him doesn't mean that you'll ever talk to him again, that he likes you, or that you should bother pursuing it. Stop overthinking it!

As for your comment, Miatta: perhaps its time to have some more self esteem and find a guy who likes you for YOU - not for what he wants out of you. They are out there - they just take time to find.

i met this guy on myspace recently but i have seen him and he hasen't seen me and i am nervous that he wont like me and so the other day i gave him my number and i was supposed to call him and i called he said he would call back but he didn't so i called him a couple days later we have talked a couple times. I have thought about calling him and asking him to the movies but i am afraid he won't like me like i want him to. He is really funny and sweet. Another thing my bff has a crush on him to but she is also trying to go out with another guy sooooo.!.!.!.!     Please help me

If he doesn't call you, he's probably either incredibly shy or a jerk. You have two options- either take the bull by the horns and call him first, or just try and forget him. Control the situation- don't let it control you!
